Anatomy
The left cheek bone: it projects as the left cheek prominence and forms the lateral rim of the left orbit, bridging temporal, maxillary and frontal bones into the zygomatic arch beneath which the powerful temporalis passes.

Left cheek swelling after direct trauma warrants checking eye movement and sensation below the eye, since the infraorbital nerve runs in its floor and injury numbs the cheek.
