Anatomy
A small elongated bone forming half of the hard nasal bridge; it meets its twin at the midline and the maxilla and frontal bone around it, with the nasal cartilages completing the flexible lower nose below.

Nasal bone fracture is the commonest of all facial fractures after direct blows; it can deform the bridge and needs early reduction within two weeks before malunion sets.
